Real Madrid and Barcelona agree with 50 clubs to create Super League

Florentino Perez, president of Real Madrid, and Joan Laporta, president of Barcelona, continue to work on the creation of the European Super League.

Representatives of the two clubs have already held talks with 50 clubs from 12 countries, the French L'Équipe noted.

The initiative to create the Super League was entrusted to the company A22 Sports Management.

In addition to the strongest clubs in Europe, Real Madrid and Barcelona are ready to see in the Super League the most titled and rich in history clubs in the Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium, Denmark and Scotland.

Among the founders of the Super League, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus did not comply with the requirements of UEFA and did not abandon the idea of holding the tournament.

Besides these clubs, Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and AC Milan, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham have also joined the initiative. These clubs rejected the idea because of pressure from UEFA, FIFA, national leagues and federations.
